CITY ISLAND FLAT

Krikla Studio was appointed to bring style and personality to an empty flat in a new development in City Island. The flat was move-in ready, but like every other apartment in the building, it was a standard white box.

The brief:

The young couple wanted a home that felt like theirs from day one. They asked for a mix of styles, a nod to their cultural heritage, additional storage and a media wall.

Our approach:

We worked closely with the clients, translating their ideas into what the space could realistically hold. Balancing ambition with practicality, we adapted the concept to the flat’s proportions and optimised the budget so that the money went where it made the most difference.

What we delivered:

• Design development adapted to the space and budget
• Additional storage and media wall
• Coordination of the partial refurbishment
